BM&A was one of the winners in the 7th edition of the Latin Lawyer Deal of the Year, which recognizes law firms for their work in major deals in Latin America. The winners were announced on March 19th, 2013, at Latin Lawyer’s annual charity dinner held in São Paulo, Brazil. BM&A received the M&A Deal of the Year award for its work in the anti-trust aspects of the merger between Brazilian airline TAM and Chile’s LAN, resulting in Latam, the biggest airline company in Latin America and one of the 10 main air transportation groups in the world.

2011 - BM&A wins ILASA’s Best Brazilian Law Firm 2011 award
On June 23, 2011, the International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards (Ilasa) named BM&A best Brazilian law firm in 2011. The event, now in its 4th edition, recognizes the top business law firms in their domestic markets.
The process of choosing the winners began six months before the event and involved a jury of 130 members from 40 countries. The winners are chosen on the basis of the nominations of the jury members and the candidates’ performance in the main international M&A rankings.
