Adriana Dantas advises clients on a variety of international trade/customs and investment regulatory matters, including international disputes. She practiced law in Washingto-DC, United States, as a senior foreign counsel at King & Spalding LLP between 2008 and August 2011. She has represented clients, including sectors of the Brazilian industry, before the U.S. administration, European authorities and at the World Trade Organization. She has practiced law in Brasilia, Sao Paulo, London and Geneva; she has worked as an intern at the Brazilian Mission before the WTO and at the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development both in Geneva. She has spoken at numerous events; is a lecture at the Florida International University, and a member of the Agribusiness and Biofuels consulting team of FGV Projetos. Adriana was recognized by the 2011 edition of Latin Lawyer 250, an annual guide to the leading law firms in Latin America, as a leading practitioner in Latin America. She has also nominated professional of the year 2010 by Presidential Who’s Who among other Latin professionals practicing in the United States. She has authored/co-authored a wide range of publications, such as The Role of WTO Rules to Discipline Climate Change-Related Agriculture Policies, Journal of World Trade 45,; and Agriculture Subsidies: International Regulation, Sao Paulo, Saraiva Editors, 2009. She is a member of the International Trade Committee at the American Bar Association and of the Society of International Economic Law (SIEL). She is registered with the Brazilian Bar Association, sections of Brasilia and Sao Paulo; and with the DC Bar as a foreign counsel. Adriana is a partner at Barbosa, Müssnich e Aragão Advogados, São Paulo office.
