BMA is highlighted in Análise Advocacia Mulher 2023

Once again, we have been highlighted in Análise Advocacia Mulher 2022, which seeks to promote diversity and gender equality in the legal market while giving greater visibility to Brazil’s top women lawyers and recognizing the value of the role they play in the market.

The ranking listed BMA 36 categories among the various practice areas and industry sectors, in 2 regions (Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo). This edition highlights 26 lawyers, including Beatriz Paulo de Frontin, Debora Bacellar de Almeida, Marina Maciel, Sarah Roriz de Freitas and Tathyana Milana Candu, who appear for the first time this year.

The publication also highlights our partner Barbara Rosenberg as one of the most admired women lawyers in Brazil. Once again, Barbara was named the most admired Competition lawyer at a full service firm, in the Technology, Steelmaking and Mining, and Maritime sectors.

The challenges to gender equity in the practice of law are still significant, but women increasingly hold leadership roles and make their presence felt in the market. At BMA, women represent 56% of our team and play a fundamental role in growth and leadership and the formation of new generations at our firm. We will continue to invest in initiatives that foster gender equity, such as our Mentorship Program.
