BMA is recognized in Latin Lawyer 250

BMA wins recognition in Latin Lawyer 250 again this year, with 17 practice areas ranked. 

The guide highlights our practice and cites some of the significant transactions we were involved in this year, including QuintoAndar’s acquisition of the Navent group’s real estate business, an award-winner in the 16th edition of the Latin Lawyer Deal of the Year Awards, in the category Mergers & Acquisitions: private companies. 

This year’s Latin Lawyer 250 also commented again on our firm’s history as a “house of rainmakers”, noting our role in many of the largest and most important transactions in Brazil’s recent history.   

The BMA practice areas recognized in the guide are: Administrative Law; Anti-Corruption Investigations and Compliance; Antitrust & Competition; Arbitration; Banking & Finance; Capital Markets; Corporate and M&A; Data, Technology and Privacy Law; Intellectual Property; Labour; Litigation; Private Equity; Project Finance & Infrastructure; Real Estate & Tourism; Restructuring & Insolvency; Tax. 

Our pro bono work was another highlight, emphasizing our social commitment and the work done by BMA Inspiration over the years. 

The Editorial stressed the growth of BMA’s initiatives directed to our people, such as the creation of a Mentorship Program for our women practitioners, well-being projects, and improvements to our BMA Education program, including new subjects in the curriculum. Another highlight was #AfirmAção, our affirmative action #SejaBMA Internship Program exclusively for Black law students, reflecting our commitment to active engagement in transforming the legal profession and to building new representative spaces.
