BMA wins Firm Award: Women in Business Law - Americas 2022

​We are very proud to announce that BMA was honored at the Women in Business Law Awards 2022 - Americas, which recognizes law firms that develop innovative initiatives to promote gender equity, diversity and inclusion.   

At the awards ceremony last Thursday evening we received a Firm Award: Women in Business Law - Latin America for BMA’s work to promote gender equity over the course of 2021.  

The award reinforces our commitment to equity, empowerment and leadership for our women practitioners, both within and outside the firm, and to continuing investment in their leadership and professional development. Women now represent more than 58% of our firm.  

Our goal is to continue growing by developing policies and incentives that support gender issues in and outside the workplace. Since our BMA Women program was created, we have made advances such as parental leave, roundtables, women’s networking events, and awareness of the challenges that women face. And this year we launched our Mentorship Program, designed to support the professional development of the women in our firm.   

We congratulate BMA Women, each of our diversity ambassadors, and all the women in our firm for the fundamental role they play every day and for their dedication to actions and projects that contribute to gender equity at BMA.
