IPO by XP Inc, with BMA as counsel, wins LatinFinance Award
XP Inc.’s initial public offering on Nasdaq, with legal support from BMA’s Corporate and Financial and Capital Markets teams, is one of the winners in LatinFinance’s 2020 Deals of the Year Awards.
The transaction, which is considered the second largest IPO by a Brazilian company in Nasdaq’s history, took the prize in the category Initial Public Offering of the Year. Representing BMA, partners Amir Bocayuva, Camila Goldberg and Felipe Prado and associates Bryan Klein, Karina Lerner, Mateus Camarotti and Renata Medina took part in the transaction.
In deciding on the winning transactions, LatinFinance took into consideration the complexity of each transaction and its importance for the market.
