BMA is recognized in WTR 1000
Again this year, the WTR 1000 guide published by World Trademark Review has recognized BMA as one of the world’s leading trademark firms.
The annual guide identifies the top trademark professionals and firms by means of a thorough qualitative survey using criteria such as sophistication of work and market presence.
Partners Antonella Carminatti and Pedro Barroso, along with attorney Pedro Tavares, all of BMA’s Intellectual Property practice, were individually recognized for the excellence of their work.
"The perfect fit for high-end trademark and other IP work, BMA overlays its knowledge of the law with a highly strategic approach to portfolio management, big-ticket litigation and impact deal making", highlighted the guide about us.
"Crucial to this are the creativity, experience and business expertise of Antonella Carminatti, Claudia Schulz and Pedro Barroso, who all stand out for their proficiency. Carminatti is distinguished as one of the finest IP all-rounders in Brazil, with a complete command of patent, trademark and copyright law. Schulz also has broad horizons and is a vital contributor to the firm’s IP, data privacy, digital law and new technologies groups; she has the magic touch when it comes to enhancing and extracting commercial value from brands. Barroso captains the litigation team and brings the heat in challenging IP cases of all kinds. They enjoy support from rising stars such as Pedro Tavares, a fine portfolio manager and counsellor. Teaming up in various configurations, these lawyers tend to the needs of a varied clientele including premium drinks makers, airlines, sports tournament brands, paper manufacturers, oil and gas companies and prestigious universities", complemented the WTR about our practice.
