Professional experience
He advises clients in Brazil and abroad, including publicly listed companies and private equity, venture capital and capital solutions funds, across a range of industries, such as energy, healthcare, consumer goods, services, oil and gas, road concessions, aviation, technology, construction, advertising and infrastructure. His work includes leveraged acquisitions, complex transactions involving distressed assets, defenses against hostile takeovers, corporate reorganizations, and corporate and commercial disputes (including arbitrations and succession disputes).
Miguel received the Latin Lawyer Deal of the Year – Private M&A award for QuintoAndar's acquisition of Navent. He was a visiting attorney in the M&A practice of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York and holds an LL.M. in Corporation Law from New York University (NYU).
