22.10.2020 1 min read

Brazil’s National Justice Council has created a Working Group to carry out studies and draw up proposals on how to bring the country’s courts into compliance with the LGPD.

Created by Directive (Portaria) 212/20, the Working Group has 16 members, who include judges, lawyers and professors. The group has until mid-January 2021 to present its first report.

To support its work, the Working Group can hold public hearings and consultations, as well as seminars and lectures.
