Maria Donati is a partner in BMA's Corporate and M&A practice area. Licensed as a lawyer in Brazil and in the State of New York. Since 2010, Maria has been working on mergers and acquisitions (including cross-border deals), corporate restructurings, joint ventures, investments and divestments, and commercial agreements, as well as advising on the day-to-day corporate matters of business entities (including governance training and best practices for members of the Board of Directors and executives). Maria also works in BMA's Mineral and Metals Industry practice area and has been active in the industry since 2018.

Maria joined BMA in 2013, after working since 2010 as a lawyer in the corporate practice area in a medium-sized office. She also worked as a foreign lawyer in the corporate and mergers and acquisitions areas at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, in New York, between 2017 and 2018.
