BMA professionals are recognized in Análise Advocacia Mulher 2026

BMA was once again featured in Análise Advocacia Mulher 2026, a segment of the annual Análise Advocacia survey that recognizes female lawyers for their work across different legal specialties and economic sectors.

This year, 23 BMA lawyers were recognized, totaling 112 individual mentions, distributed across 14 specialties, 24 economic sectors, and two states: Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

Recognized lawyers: Ana Cândida de Mello Carvalho, Ana Paula Reis, Barbara Rosenberg, Camilla Paoletti, Cibelle Linero, Cristiana Moreira, Fernanda A. Tanure, Fernanda Nasciutti, Fernanda Von Borowski, Jane Goldman Nusbaum, Layse Rhayana Marcelino Dias, Lígia Regini, Luciana Marsal, Marcela Abras Lorenzetti, Maria Sampaio, Maria Eduarda Genova, Monique Mavignier, Patrícia O. Ferrari Sabino, Tatiana Amorim, Tatiana Dratovsky Sister, Thais de Barros Meira, Vivian Casanova, and Virgínia Pillekamp.

Among the highlights, partner Barbara Rosenberg was once again recognized as the most admired lawyer in Brazil.

In a statement to the publication, Barbara noted: “Being among the Most Admired professionals is both an honor and a responsibility. For me, admiration is deeply connected to trust — and trust is the most valuable asset in the legal profession.”

According to her, the recognition also reflects a collective effort: “If I am there, it is a reflection of the extraordinary BMA Competition team and the trust of clients who involve us in complex and sensitive matters.”

Although challenges to gender equity in the legal profession still persist, the market has seen important progress, with an increasing number of women assuming leadership positions. At BMA, women currently represent 59% of the firm and play a key role in business development, team leadership, and in mentoring the next generation of professionals.
